TRACKMODE is the controller of personal information submitted through this website and the account portal. This notice explains what is collected, why it is used and the choices available to you.
Information you provide
- The quote form asks for your name, email address, optional phone number, vehicle, enquiry area and message.
- If you create an account, the portal may hold account, vehicle, booking and message information needed for that portal.
- Technical records such as IP address, device or browser information may be processed by the hosting and account providers to deliver and secure their services.
Why information is used
- To review and respond to an enquiry, take steps you request before a service agreement, and communicate about potential work.
- To provide account, vehicle, booking and workshop-message features where the portal is enabled.
- To operate, protect and troubleshoot the website and account service where there is a legitimate interest in running a secure service.
- To retain or disclose records where required by law.
Lawful bases
Depending on the context, TRACKMODE relies on steps taken at your request before entering a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests in responding to customers and protecting the service, and compliance with legal obligations. Where consent is the appropriate basis, you can withdraw it for future processing.
Website services
The quote form is prepared for the deployed hosting provider’s form handling. The account portal uses Supabase when it is configured. Those providers may process technical, enquiry or account data needed to deliver and secure their services. Information may also be shared with professional advisers or authorities where necessary and lawful. TRACKMODE does not sell personal information. The public marketing pages do not currently load a dedicated advertising or analytics tracker.
International processing
Technology providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, TRACKMODE expects the provider to use an applicable legal safeguard, such as an adequacy regulation or approved contractual protections. Contact TRACKMODE if you want more information about the safeguard relevant to your data.
How long information is kept
Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry or account purpose, to establish or defend legal claims, and to meet legal, tax or operational obligations. The period depends on the type of record and whether work is agreed. Records are then deleted or anonymised where appropriate.
Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Keep account credentials private and contact TRACKMODE if you believe an account has been compromised.
Your rights
UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your information, object to certain processing, and receive information in a portable form. You may also withdraw consent where consent is used. These rights can be limited in some circumstances, including where records must be kept for legal reasons.
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, although TRACKMODE would welcome the chance to address the issue first.
Your choices
You can avoid submitting optional information and clear local site data through your browser. You do not need an account to send a quote request by form, phone or email.
